OpenClaw supports connecting to various messaging platforms including WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord, Slack, and more.
Supported Channels
Prerequisites:
- WhatsApp Business API account
- Verified phone number
- Business profile
Setup:
- Get WhatsApp Business API credentials
- Configure in OpenClaw settings
- Set up webhook
- Test connection
Telegram
Prerequisites:
- Telegram bot account
- Bot token from @BotFather
Setup:
- Create a bot via @BotFather
- Copy the bot token
- Configure in OpenClaw
- Test the bot
Discord
Prerequisites:
- Discord server
- Bot application
- Bot token
Setup:
- Create Discord application
- Add bot to server
- Configure permissions
- Get bot token
- Configure in OpenClaw
Slack
Prerequisites:
- Slack workspace
- Slack app
Setup:
- Create Slack app
- Add OAuth scopes
- Install to workspace
- Configure in OpenClaw
Testing
After configuring a channel, test it by:
